Caught these interesting pics on Collider.com of Andre 3000 as Jimi Hendrix in All Is By My Side directed and written by John Ridley. The film is being shot in Dublin and also stars Imogen Poots and Hayley Atwell. The film will feature interviews with the musician as well as archival footage. I remember hearing about this awhile back and being psyched that they chose Andre to play Hendrix, but the proof is in the pudding. This might turn out to be one of those quiet festival joints which I’m afraid is what will happen, but that’s okay. There could be enough magic moments in this film to catapult it to cult status. Do your thang Andre…I can’t wait to see you brotha!
