The sister act Coco Rosie brings a power house of emotion to everything they do. This latest is no exception. We Are On Fire is the single off of Touch And Go records and it speaks volumes at least I think it does. It always helps to have their lyrics handy while listening to a Coco Rosie joint. As always female empowerment is strong in this dark and melancholic track. Stories of magic and witch hunts inundate the lush beats. The video directed by Emma Freeman is as beautiful as slo mo get’s, which I’m starting to learn everything is beautiful in slo mo. Epic in nature, the cinematography illustrates many primal themes among these tortured human souls and human’s lack of understanding and empathy. It all comes together under fire and ash. It’s all just another brilliant effort by the electronica team.
