MUST WATCH!!!! HOW TO “POGO” YOUR MOVIES HOSTED BY NICK BERKE

No…not filming movies on a pogo stick silly. Pogo is the brainchild of Nick Berke an audio engineer out of Western Australia. When Nick isn’t producing artist in the studio he likes to work on what can best be described as movie mashups. A process by which Nick takes dialog from films, usually animated or fantasy, cuts them up in his computer and sets them to music. His work has gained him attention from Disney,Weta Films,The Academy of Motion Pictures and a slew of other’s. In the video below he took time out of his busy schedule to give us a step by step of how to do your own movie mashup. Though after watching it I will say that if you don’t have a basic knowledge of pro tools/logic or Adobe Soundbooth you may be ass out. Curious? Check out his youtube page which features amazing examples of his work. I’ve also taken the liberty of posting some of my favorites from his catalog below. You can also visit his website.
