So Odd Future in all their over hypness has remixed one of Charli XCX’s less notable, but equally impressive tracks from her freshman release and I gotta say…I don’t hate it. Charli XCX is still an up and comer, but she’s aligned herself with some of indie electronica’s heavy hitters like Grimes and Blood Diamond. Some good collab’s and some bad, but it’s never really about working with artist especially artist who’ve only been around hard for a year $$$$. Back to this track, it’s got a decent club jump to it. It could use a bit more bass, but it’s tinniness isn’t distracting. The video is directed by Claire Boyd and Ryan Andrews on a video toaster I’m sure of it.
