Sonic Mayhem is the brainchild of producer and professional sound designer Sascha “Buzzfunk” Dikiciyan and associates. They’ve been lending their sound scapes and grinding industrial tracks to such popular games as Quake, Tron: Evolution and Mass Effect going on ten plus years and aren’t showing any signs of slowing down. Doomsday is their latest EP that will feature some of the  consortiums more aggressive and hard hitting industrial tracks and what better way to celebrate the release of this mechanized fury than with this David Fincher-esque vision of the future. The video directed by Zyclotron is skilled in it’s use of what the fuckness. The snippet seems to focus on an engineer of some sort whose job it is to operate this maniacal machine using different levers and buttons. The ending gets a bit cryptic when ectoplasm comes into play. Verging on redundant, it’s guaranteed eye candy for science fiction fans and lovers of good cinematography such as myself.
