God I’ve been waiting for this trailer for too long and now it’s here, the trailer for Lincoln directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Daniel Day Lewis, Sally FieldTommy Lee JonesThe trailer contains the usual whistles and bells common to American period pieces like this, so don’t expect too much, but what I’m hoping to see when the film releases November 16th are those moments of magic between these actors and I do expect to see them.  In addition to this amazing cast the film also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, David Oyelowo, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, James Spader, John Hawkes, Michael Stuhlbarg, David Strathairn, Walton Goggins, Tim Blake Nelson, Bruce McGill, Jackie Earle Haley, Lee Pace and Jared Harris. If anticipation for this film doesn’t get an Oscar nod and Obama reelected, I don’t know what will.
