David Fincher set to produce the launch of the Halo 4 trailer directed by Tim Miller


David Fincher (Seven,Zodiac) recently announced that he will be producing the launch trailer for the uber popular Microsoft shooter Halo 4 and it will be directed by Tim Miller. Tim is no stranger to cgi in fact you can spot his work in Scott Pilgrim Vs The World and the title sequence for David Fincher’s Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Unbeknownst to many Fincher is a huge Halo fan and to honor that love he’s producing this trailer entitled Scanned. The 2 minute short, some of which was shot in Prague, will make it’s debut on Jimmy Fallon Oct 18th 2012.

 As Miller said, “I’m excited about the    opportunity to direct the Halo 4 launch. Halo is one of the most iconic sci-fi universes, with a depth that allows for amazingly cinematic and emotionally riveting stories. The chance to tell a story that explores never-before-seen facets of Master Chief’s journey is an honor.”

Miller also added that the goal with Scanned is to “deliver a blockbuster, Hollywood-quality trailer that raises the bar for the award-winning legacy of live-action Halo storytelling and gets fans stoked for the return of Master Chief.”

No word yet as to whether this means we can expect to see these two team up for a long overdue Halo film, but something tells me this won’t be the last time they  will  be visiting the United Nations Space Command.

  1. These two forms of using the word’roll form’ will
    be used indistinguishably throughout this manuscript.
    Consumers love these doors because, it gives you the freedom to put
    your own touch on them. You may want to check the batteries to see if
    they are low.

    1. I find that if the logical anterior battery isn’t up to par what happens is that many of the distinguishable neurons and dendrites get caught up in what’s commonly known as the Mr. Drisdale axiom.
