Here we go again with another one of those videos from some clever director who takes great joy in fucking up your perspective on things. The director I speak of is Jodeb and the artist well their none other than Cypress Hill, Dubstep aficionado Rusko and Damien Marley. The video which starts out normal enough, gets jacked real quick. Sending the viewer on this topsy turvy, but never fret, listen to the lyrics and you’ll see right away why the video is the way it is. “Can’t keep me down” speaks of the trials and tribulations of being human and high so in that way this parallel universe of sorts speaks as a metaphor for the triumph of the human will and our incessant need to overcome.
