Red Band Trailer for Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Promises a Buffet of Gore

The new red band trailer for the upcoming Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters flick starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton was recently rolled out by Paramount Pictures.  Here’s your first look:

So far, I have to say that preliminary previews for Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters seem to be all over the map.  I’m hoping this is one case where the film is actually more coherent than the trailers. Even the official site is a bit barren for a film whose trailer is getting tons of play at your local cineplex.

The film, slated for release early next year (wide release due January 25, 2013), is being featured in 3D.  Based on the latest red band, will you be springing for the upgraded ride?
