Fresh off the press from twitter, The Mars Volta member, Cedric Bixler Zavala announced today that the band was planning on going on tour, but supposedly band leader Omar Rodriguez Lopez has said he doesn’t plan on taking TMV any further.
This is a sad moment because of how much recent success Omar’s past band, At The Drive-In’s, have had.

UPDATE: new tweets from the band member has made it official that they’ve come to an end as a band.
