Nolan-No-Justice-League

And now you know what happens when your switching between World of Warcraft and Facebook at 12:07 a.m. You wind up hearing a rumor like this one and have no other choice than to do a write up on it as soon as possible. This whole JL (Justice League) thing is really getting out of control. First it’s in the works, next it’s being scraped, now Christopher Nolan is going to produce it and wants to bring back Christian Bale for the role of The Dark Knight. Not only that, rumor has it that Christopher Nolan has completely taken over anything having to do with these characters at DC. So basically, DC has given Chris the keys to the kingdom at least according to Latino Review. As many of you already know, Christopher Nolan is already producing Man of Steel directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill, Russell Crowe, Amy Adam’s and Michael Shannon, so yes there is an interest on his part, but Justice League? This is getting so complicated right? So many characters, so little time to merchandise the shit out of them, but something tells me Warner Brother’s has a plan. Does it make sense to have Chris take this on? Yes, but do I want him too…I don’t know yet. I’m going to run with Latino Review’s theory as to why this is all happening and at such a break neck pace. Disney has The Avengers sequel all set up and J.J. Abrams about to breath new life into the Star Wars franchise. That being said Chris and Zack are working together on the highly anticipated Man of Steel, but even that can’t guarantee box office numbers, but what can is an actor who brought in cumulative what Iron Man, Captain America and Thor couldn’t do collectively, one billion dollars. Is this all starting to make sense? Warner is pulling out the big guns to combat a potential disaster if they can’t cash in on the bankability of these characters right the fuck now. So there you have it. Chris could be the new face of DC. We’ll all see how this all washes out in the coming days, but in the meantime keep your eyes and ears peeled, this could get messy.
