No question, Jesse Eisenberg‘s agent is brilliant at getting him into those roles that are completely fitting. The world of magic has and always will be a geek haven, it’s just that most nerds, strangely enough, lack that chromosome for the things they do. Weird to, considering how many really smart people there are, that there aren’t more geeks trying to make a living with magic. Again, I guess only a select few have the stamina for magic. Take for instance these four talented individual’s in this film. They call themselves “The Four Horseman” a completely dumb-ass name, but they do pull off some amazing stunts. The Incredible Hulk director Louis Letterier has assembled an amazing cast for what could potentially be one hell of a ride or a huge failure. But look at it this way, at least we got to hear Morgan Freeman narrate over some decent footage of some outlandishly implausible shit.
Now You See Me pits an elite FBI squad in a game of cat and mouse against “The Four Horsemen,” a super-team of the world’s greatest illusionists. “The Four Horsemen” pull off a series of daring heists against corrupt business leaders during their performances, showering the stolen profits on their audiences while staying one step ahead of the law.
