MGMT has always been one of those bands that I have admired, but their level of consistency, in my opinion, has always been all over the place. But luckily, they have a record label that’s willing to follow them on this journey. Always creative and poignant, MGMT has dropped the video for their first single called Your “Life Is A Lie” directed by Tom Kuntz. Reminding me a little of Ugly Cassanova’s video for “Things I Don’t Remember“, this video is chock full of seemingly random images, that is until you “get all tall” then it’ll start to make more sense. Oh these hipsters….their just nerds of meth.
