Speaking of De La, I’ve been listening to a lot to The Grind Date, having slept on their past few and as a De La fan, I was ashamed of myself. This album is so full of amazing tracks, I was blown away! De La Soul were thought to be a phase of the 90’s, with their hippy vibe and knotty hair, but here they are two decades later and they are still moving things forward and still keeping it conscious and indie.
