When I first saw Tim Burton‘s Batman, I went crazy for any and everything related to that film. I saw it three times on opening day, bought the soundtrack, both Danny Elfman’s and Prince’s. I immediately embraced Batman like I had been reading the comic books all my life, but I hadn’t. In fact, the only Batman book I can remember reading all the way through is the Dark Horse graphic The Dark Knight, which is the basis for most of the current Batman films. I never once asked myself “why I clung to this iconic figure so quickly and without really knowing what he stood for or was all about?” (kind of the same thing…I know). Thank goodness there are some creative and articulate artist who’ve gathered stories from people like myself and woven them all into this lovely trailer for Legend‘s of the Knight directed by Brett Culp. Brett has gone above and beyond to bring us stories of everyday heroism from people who credit Batman for their strength. The film isn’t done yet, but he’s started a kickstarter to raise enough money to get the rest of it done. Trust me when you see this you’ll be throwing dollars at this project. It is more than worthy of a few bucks.
