Funny…I almost forgot how depressing Black Sabbath was, thank God their back to remind me. It’s been years since the prophets of heavy metal dropped an album, but maybe it’s because they needed to take what’s been going on in the world for the last 30 years and rape our ears into submission. I think they’ve done it with this track “God Is Dead”. Peppered with all the things that make Black Sabbath rock icons Ozzy , sings his heart out about religion with all the ambiguity that made them the target of churches and Satanist back in the seventies. Nevertheless Black Sabbath’s new album 13, which incidentally releases on June 13, will be a must have if only for the sentimental value which I hope is not the case.
